Gravel and DDR Motorsports set to take on East Bay!

February 17th, 2011

(2/17/2011 Tampa Bay, Fl) The DDR Motorsports Team with driver David Gravel have their sights set on East Bay Raceway this weekend as they compete for the title of “King of the 360’s”. Gravel is coming off a couple of top ten finishes with the All Star Circuit of Champions in the JRC Transport J&J powered by Kistler Engines and finds himself 5th in the championship points. The team is optimistic the “Bad Luck” they suffered during the Outlaw races at Volusia are behind them.

During Sunday nights qualifying with the Outlaws, a motor let go which resulted in David qualifying 27th out of 32 cars. The team worked diligently replacing the exhausted power plant but it was not enough to propel Gravel into the feature. Both Gravel and the team have left that behind and now are focused on the task at hand at East Bay Raceway. Read more »

DDR Motorsports excited for GA and Florida events!

February 3rd, 2011

For Immediate Release:

(Indianapolis, IN 2/3/2011) The DDR Motorsports Transport is headed
southward carrying driver David Gravel and crew chief Rob Hart to Sylvania,
GA for the All Star Circuit of Champions season opener. The fan favorite is
looking forward to another season with the All Stars and is confident the
team can not only be a contender to win night in and night out but challenge
for the Championship. JRC Transport and Bozzutos IGA are back on board
supporting the teams efforts in 2011.

The team is very close on several new partners to join the team in 2011 and
will have announcements soon. A few of the new partners will be their guests
while racing in Volusia. It’s been a long off season and Gravel has just
been itching to get back in the cockpit of his 89G Kistler powered J&J.

“This is what I have been waiting for since we finished our last race at
Charlotte.” said Gravel, “We practiced last night and the track her in
Georgia was heavy from the rains they had, it was very fast. It will be very
good for racing once they work it in. I really like it and it’s wide so
there should be 3 to 4 racing grooves around the track. Looking forward to a
good run tonight to get this season off to a good start.” Read more »
