(5/13/2011 Brownsburg, IN) It’s a long racing season and every season has
it’s up’s and down’s, and for DDR Motorsports and driver David Gravel they
hope the down’s are now behind them. This weekend will find the team headed to Attica on Friday night then Mercer, PA with the All Star Circuit of
Champions. The last 3 races the JRC Transportation/My Basement Doctor/IGA Hometown Wheels J&J Chassis powered by Kister Engines has made the feature but the finishes were not what the team had hoped. They are very optimistic that all that will change this weekend.
“We always run strong at Attica, and that can be a big boost for us this
weekend.” said driver David Gravel. “I have never run Mercer but Rob has
been there several times and will give me good set-up. I am happy we made
the features in our last 3 races, we just haven’t had the finishes we are
capable of. Regardless of the competition we have the team to run with
anyone.”
“We have had our up’s and down’s this season, but this weekend will be our
up.” continued Gravel. “We know who our competition is with Shaffer, Blaney, Felmlee and Holtgraver all strong drivers and teams but we have beaten em before. I am just hopeful we can get in both shows. Part of it I think is the number of shows that have been canceled with the weather, when your running week in and week out you get a rythm we have not gotten that, but we will.”
