New Jersey, North Carolina and Indiana make up Memorial Day trifecta for ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’
CARLISLE, PA. – May 20, 2018 – Mother nature certainly has not been a race fan thus far in 2018. Heavy rains the in the central Pennsylvania area have caused series and track officials to cancel or delay the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events at Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown and Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg. The news was obviously a disappointment to both CJB Motorsports and driver David Gravel.
“Losing this many races really stinks,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “The Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln is one of our favorite events and we won that one last year so we were looking forward to it. We heard the are working on a new date for it. We know we’ll race at the Grove during the Summer Nationals for more money on Friday night ($13,000.) That’ll be exciting.” Read more »
