Inside Line Promotions \u2013 KNOXVILLE, Iowa (June 15, 2026) \u2013 Big Game Motorsports recorded a top-five finish with both Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing and the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series last week.<\/p>\n
David Gravel guided the team to a runner-up result last Tuesday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., during the Eagle Nationals with High Limit Racing. Three days later, he charged from 11th<\/sup> to fourth at Knoxville Raceway.<\/p>\n \u201cEagle was good from start to finish,\u201d said Gravel, who set quick time during qualifying, placed third in a heat race and won the dash. \u201cWe had a little racing luck in the feature with cautions. I felt we were okay in the beginning of the race, but our car got better when we burned the fuel load off. It was rough and treacherous on the top, which isn\u2019t something we are the best at. We were able to survive and come home with a second-place finish.\u201d<\/p>\n Gravel opened the World of Outlaws doubleheader at Knoxville Raceway on Friday by qualifying sixth quickest in his group. He placed third in a heat race to start the main event on the inside of the sixth row.<\/p>\n \u201cWe qualified okay, but not up to our standards,\u201d he said. \u201cWe had a really strong heat race of cars around us and ran third. In the feature, we had a couple of good starts and the car really came along at the end. I almost passed Sheldon (Haudenschild) with five or seven laps to go. I didn\u2019t get to clear him and he took my lane. (Aaron) Reutzel passed me back and on the last lap I got him again. At the end of the race, we were one of the fastest cars for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n Saturday\u2019s weekend finale rained out.<\/p>\n Gravel currently leads the World of Outlaws championship standings by 82 points.<\/p>\n This week showcases four big nights of action at Huset\u2019s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., which hosts the $150,000-to-win Hefty Seed Huset\u2019s Hustle on Wednesday and Thursday and the $300,000-to-win BillionAuto.com Huset\u2019s High Bank Nationals on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n \u201cYou get to just go out and race hard,\u201d Gravel said. \u201cYour mindset is to position yourself best with the format and try to be on your game. Not that I\u2019ll be driving differently, but the pressure is off for points so we can focus on the top prize.<\/p>\n \u201cHuset\u2019s has been pretty good for us. Right now, the No. 83 is the car to beat so everybody has to get better to beat him. Having four nights in a row gives us plenty of time to continue to get better on our package at Huset\u2019s.
