Inside Line Promotions \u2013 VADO, N.M. (Sept. 8, 2025) \u2013 Big Game Motorsports driver David Gravel added a new track to his win\u2019s list last Friday at Vado Speedway Park.<\/p>\n
The victory was Gravel\u2019s 14th<\/sup> of the season and his 13th<\/sup> official triumph during World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competition \u2013 the most of any driver.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was great,\u201d he said. \u201cThat air there in that elevation is really bad to make horsepower. The last time we were there our engines didn\u2019t run too good. Cody (Jacobs) and Brian (Morrison) worked together and got the engine to run well and it showed. We qualified well and it showed all night long.\u201d<\/p>\n Gravel qualified second quickest before he won a heat race. He finished where he started \u2013 second \u2013 in the dash to line up on the outside of the front row in the main event.<\/p>\n \u201cLogan (Schuchart) closed off the top there and I fell to third on the start,\u201d he said. \u201cI had to settle in and see how the rest of the race would play out. It was going to be all about traffic. Kerry (Madsen) got by Logan and made him have to move around. I was able to capitalize to get by Logan for second. Then I showed my nose to Kerry and was able to capitalize on him trying to be aggressive with lapped cars. If they stay in the preferred lane I don\u2019t think I\u2019m getting by them.\u201d<\/p>\n Gravel drove into second place on Lap 20. Three laps later, he maneuvered by Madsen to take the lead en route to winning by more than two seconds.<\/p>\n Saturday\u2019s event finale rained out.
