Inside Line Promotions \u2013 ROSSBURG, Ohio (July 21, 2025) \u2013 Big Game Motorsports wrapped up a hectic week in Ohio with a strong outing on Saturday at Eldora Speedway, which hosted the 42nd<\/sup> annual Kings Royal.<\/p>\n

David Gravel charged from 19th<\/sup> to fifth place to garner the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars. It marked his fifth career top five and his third in a row during the crown jewel event.<\/p>\n

The busy week featuring five straight nights of racing began last Tuesday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, where Gravel set quick time during his group\u2019s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series qualifying session. He then won a heat race, advanced from eighth to seventh place in the dash and ended sixth in the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic presented by DAC Vitamins main event.<\/p>\n

The team ventured to Eldora Speedway on Wednesday to start four nights in a row at the high-banked oval. Gravel was quickest in his qualifying group, placed fifth in a heat race and maneuvered from eighth to second place during a Kubota High Limit Racing main event. However, the team was disqualified because of a nose wing violation.<\/p>\n

That dropped the team from a likely front row starting position in Thursday\u2019s $100,000-to-win Joker\u2019s Jackpot to buried in a B Main. Gravel drove into a transfer position before a vicious crash ended the night early with a DNF.<\/p>\n

Friday returned to World of Outlaws competition during the Knight Before the Kings Royal. Gravel was fourth quickest in his group, ran second in a heat race and in the dash, and ended fourth in the main event.<\/p>\n

He currently leads the World of Outlaws championship standings by 174 points entering another busy week. The action begins on Wednesday at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pa., during the Bricker\u2019s Bash. Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., hosts the C&D Rigging Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday. The weekend wraps up on Sunday at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, N.Y., during the Empire State Challenge.<\/p>\n
