Rain cancels events at Calistoga Speedway; Swindell to Tackle Knoxville Opener        
CARLISLE, PA. – April 13, 2016 – Mother nature proved to be an enemy of sprint car racing as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series was rained out on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th. The series was set to take the Calistoga Speedway in the picturesque wine country on Northern California but saturated grounds canceled any plans for racing.
“It was disappointing that we didn’t even get one night in at Calistoga,” said Gravel of his performance at Ocean Speedway, which was also his debut there. “We were really looking forward to seeing what we had there.” Read more »

Calistoga Speedway to test #5 team next; 34 Raceway on tap for #1 team
CARLISLE, PA. – April 6, 2016 – A little bad luck couldn’t stop David Gravel from pulling off a solid weekend as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series was in action at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Calif. and Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif.
“We just had an off night,” said Gravel of his performance at Ocean Speedway, which was also his debut there. “We got behind with the pill draw and it was an uphill battle from there. It was a great little track. It didn’t widen out too much in the feature so we really didn’t move forward. It was a bit heavy”
Gravel, driver of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5, put his notes to good use the following night as the team took on another quarter mile bull ring, the famous Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif.  Read more »
