DESERT DICING: Gravel & Abreu Put on Whale of a Show for Fans in Arizona

Three nights in Texas over Easter weekend to challenge the CJB team
CARLISLE, PA. – April 11, 2017 –  After notching three wins in California throughout the month of March, David Gravel and the CJB #5 team began to trek back to the east. A pair of stops in Arizona at Cocopah Speedway and Arizona Speedway were up first as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series officially opened the month of April.
 
Cocopah Speedway, near Somerton, held the first event of the weekend on Friday, April 7th. The CJB team owns a victory there having taken the checkered flag in the 2015 Winter Heat Series.  For this go around, car # 5 timed in seventh, finished fourth in the heat race and lined up for the feature in 10th. Gravel joins Schatz as only multi-time winner of 2017 season thus far
CARLISLE, PA. – April 4, 2017 –  David Gravel and the CJB Motorsports team have been “California Dreamin’ for the better part of the last month. With victories at Placerville (Calif.) Speedway and Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway, the team now has three victories in six starts in the Golden State in 2017.
Gravel added his second victory of the season at Placerville Speedway on Wednesday, March 29th. The Watertown, Conn. driver picked up his second quick time award of the season, won his heat race and started the nights feature event on the outside of the front row. Read more »
