Inside Line Promotions – HAUBSTADT, Ind. (April 23, 2024) – David Gravel rebounded in a big way last weekend.

The Big Game Motorsports driver kicked off a pair of World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series weekend races on Friday at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Ky., where he hadn’t competed in a dozen years. Gravel was sixth quickest, won a heat race and placed fifth in the dash to earn the fifth starting position in the Paducah Sprint Car Showdown main event.

Gravel was running in third place and on the bumper of the second-place driver when another driver slid them both exiting a corner. As the drivers had to check up, Gravel and another driver made contact, sending him down the track and into another driver with both getting upside down. It ended the night early for Big Game Motorsports with a season-worst 23^rd-place result. Read more »

Inside Line Promotions – PEVELY, Mo. (April 15, 2024) – Big Game Motorsports driver David Gravel added to his lead in the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series championship standings following a second straight winning weekend.

Gravel won the opening round of the Spring Classic on Friday before placing fourth on Saturday at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. He currently leads the World of Outlaws standings by 48 points.

The first half of each night mirrored itself with Gravel qualifying second quickest and winning a heat race to advance into the dash both nights. On Friday, he pulled the No. 1 in the dash draw and finished second in the dash to line up on the outside of the front row in the main event. Read more »
