Williams Grove Champion Oil National Open on Tap for CJB Motorsports and David Gravel

CARLISLE, PA. – September 24, 2018 – For the second time this season, David Gravel and the CJB Motorsports team raced on with heavy hearts. On Thursday, September 20th, fellow sprint car racer Greg Hodnett lost his life in an incident at Bedford (Pa.) Auto Speedway. With their roots in central Pennsylvania, Gravel and the team will well versed in how talented Hodnett was.

“Greg was a fierce competitor,” Gravel said. “He was a factor about any time he hit the track. Very intense. Off of it, he was kind of quiet but he had a great sense of humor. He was a really good guy. I only have great things to say about him. Hopefully we take the necessary steps at the tracks to prevent this type of thing from happening again.”  Read more »

Placerville and Calistoga will wrap up second west coast swing for Outlaw tour

CARLISLE, PA. – September 10, 2018 – Strong finishes continue to populate the 2018 schedule for CJB Motorsports. A podium finish at Willamette (Ore.) Speedway led the way as the #5 team also competed in events at Silver Dollar Speedway near Chico, Calif.

Willamette Speedway saw the driver David Gravel time in 7th, finish 1st in his heat race and 2nd in the Craftsman Club dash. Read more »
