World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am wraps up the 2018 season

CARLISLE, PA. – October 29, 2018 – After rain canceled one night of racing and delayed another, Mother Nature finally allowed the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to run the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway. David Gravel and the CJB Motorsports team took to the fast-half-mile with $51,000 on the line. The GoMuddy.com, Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation, Nyce, Crete and Landis Block and Concrete #5 car timed in 13th, finished 3rd in his heat race and started the feature event in 17th.

“We missed the invert by one spot in time trials,” Gravel said. “Instead of being on the pole for the heat race, we hard to towards the back. The track was really fast in the heats and luckily, we made up a few spots. A few guys fell out. Later on, during the feature, we were really good early on. The track was still really fast, and we just made our way up through the field as the race wore on.” Read more »

CARLISLE, PA. – October 24, 2018 – In racing, as in life, change is a constant part of the story. After three highly successful years, CJB Motorsports and driver David Gravel will dissolve their partnership at the conclusion of the 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season.

“Before we get into anything else, our family, Barry Jackson, his family, our crew and all of our partners want to thank David Gravel and his family for an incredible three-year run,” said team owners Chad and Jenn Clemens.  “From the moment David and Barry were paired together, they were a force to be reckoned with. The stats show that clearly. We’ve had some of the best years we’ve ever had with David behind the wheel. We’ve won coast-to-coast and won some of the biggest races in the sport. In this business, as with most forms of motorsports, relationships tend to run their course. With that being said, we all agreed that this relationship, though highly successful, had run its course and it was time for a change for all parties.” Read more »
