WEST BURLINGTON, IOWA (July 10, 2020) – Coming off a strong weekend and performance last week at Cedar Lake, this week’s journey took David Gravel and the JJR #41 sprint car team to 34 Raceway where the 3/8-mile high banked speed plant is located adjacent to the mighty Mississippi River in West Burlington, Iowa. Friday night marked the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series first return trip to the track since 2014. There were 27 drivers entered and ready to roll in the pit area to get the weekend of high speed action started.

NEW RICHMOND, WISCONSIN (July 4, 2020) As people across the country paused to celebrate our America’s independence, the World of Outlaws and a field of competitors were back at Cedar Lake Speedway for the finale of the Independence Day Spectacular. After two strong nights of racing and outcomes, David Gravel and the JJR #41 team were looking to top off the weekend with another performance worthy of note in the Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution/Schoenfeld Headers #41 Maxim. Since 1957 when Cedar Lake Speedway was built, fans have been coming to this racing facility for entertainment. Located less than one hour to the northeast of Minneapolis they attract crowds from all over. This night was a little different as the stands were full of eager race fans who had passed through COVID-19 testing/screening, but there also were fans with their televisions on tuned in for the live broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.
