SARVER, PENNSYLVANIA (July 21, 2020) – As the temperatures continue to push the mercury up in the thermometer throughout Pennsylvania the action on the tracks throughout the state are heating up too. David Gravel and the JJR #41 team, along with the stars of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, headed to western side of the Keystone State for the first time in 2020 to race in the $25,000-to-win 29th Annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup. Don Martin was more than just a successful track owner and promoter . . . he was a passionate race fan that dated back into the 1940’s. He was very proud of Lernerville Speedway and certainly was smiling while watching down over the field of 39 cars that lined the pit area located outside of turns three and four.

PORT ROYAL, PENNSYLVANIA (July 19, 2020) – After finishing seventh on the opening night of action at the Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night, David Gravel and the Jason Johnson Racing (JJR) #41 team were back at one of Central Pennsylvania’s finest facilities nestled in Juniata County. They were excited to get back on the finely tuned surface that Steve Stimely meticulously prepares night in and night out to produce the best racing at The Speed Palace.  The pits again were bustling with 45 teams readying their equipment for action to take a shot not only at the $10,000 winner’s check, but also licking their chops over the additional $1,029 Weikert Bounty that would go to the driver that beats Danny Dietrich to win along with the additional bounty of $1,000 that was posted to any driver who could conquer the seemingly impossible to stop Kyle Larson in the championship finale. It was time to go racing at Port Royal Speedway in the Bob Weikert Memorial finale!
