NEW RICHMOND, WISCONSIN (July 2, 2020) – The JJR #41 team, along with their driver David Gravel, headed to Wisconsin for the July Fourth weekend to race in Cedar Lakes Speedway’s 3-day Independence Day Spectacular! The Badger State, which got that nickname back in the 1800s when miners were searching for lead ore and dug tunnels into the hillside where they sometimes lived while working, is now filled with dirt track racing enthusiasts who love when the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series comes to town. The sprint cars stars of the series were joined by their late model partners for the entire weekend at the 3/8-mile oval. JACKSON, MINNESOTA (June 27, 2020) – The officials at the Jackson Nationals presented the 42nd Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals with the finale on Saturday night as it was the first big money race of the 2020 season for the competitors. A total of 45 cars showed up to take a shot at earning points to have the opportunity to take home the winner’s share of the purse. Many of those drivers and teams represent the best-of-the-best in sprint car racing, including David Gravel and the Jason Johnson Racing (JJR) #41. Gravel and the JJR #41 team stuck together and overcame many challenges and obstacles to earn a total of 932 points which put him fourth overall in points after the two qualifying nights of racing that locked him in the King of the Hill Dash.
