CJB Grabs Strong Finishes in North Dakota to close out the month of August
CARLISLE, PA. – August 31, 2016 –  The eighth month on the calendar comes to a close as the CJB Motorsports team continue their season long quest for victories.
Coming off of back-to-back top-5’s at Angell Park Speedway and Junction Motor Speedway, David Gravel and the #5 team headed towards North Dakota for the second event of the season at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Gravel timed in 3rd in his flight for time trials.
“We started off behind a little bit but got better,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “Our car was really good in the heat race and dash. The track was a bit greasy in the feature and we slid back some. I think I overused my right rear and that got me in trouble because I was running up high. I should have stayed on the bottom. My left rear was fine.” Read more »

HEADING WEST & EAST: Swindell Grabs Win While Gravel Adds Podiums for CJB

‘Duel in the Dakotas’ is next for Gravel while Swindell Looks Forward to Jackson 
CARLISLE, PA. – August 24, 2016 –  Podium finishes continue to come for the CJB Motorsports tandem of David Gravel & Sammy Swindell. Even with both drivers on opposites ends of the country, the Pennsylvania based teams continue to race up front and, for Swindell, add victories.
David Gravel and his #5 team started their post Knoxville Nationals western swing on Tuesday, August 16th at Junction Motor Speedway near McCool Junction, Neb.
“We had another great night,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “Our car raced really well all night long and we just kept getting better and better. We made up some spots in the dash and that put us up a row for the feature. We ran second to Donny again and I thought we might get to him in lap traffic.” Read more »
