WILLIAMS GROVE WASH OUT: National Open Delayed Until October 14th

Outlaws head to Empire State and the Fullton Speedway to be apart of NAPA SuperDIRT week
CARLISLE, PA. – October 5, 2016 –  Sometimes, Mother Nature is simply not a race fan.
Torrential and persistent rains forced Williams Grove Speedway and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series officials to delay the annual Champion Racing Oil National Open until Friday, October 14th.
“It’s pretty disappointing,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “We were obviously looking forward to the three day format at the Grove and racing in front of plenty of familiar folks. The purse will be cut from $50,000-to-win to $25,000-to-win. I know we all appreciate the tracks efforts to get the show in and we’re glad that is it rescheduled for same weekend as Port Royal.” Read more »

SEPTEMBER SLAYER: Gravel Add’s Top-5’s at Night Before the Crowns & Commonwealth Clash

Champion Racing Oil Williams Grove National Open up next for the Pennsylvania based team
CARLISLE, PA. – September 28, 2016 –  Winning races is absolutely key to winning championships. Another key element is solid, top-5 finishes. David Gravel and the CJB Motorsports team are rapidly achiving championship by both of those metrics. Though they did not add to their win count, the racing weekend featuring stops at Eldora Speedway and Lernerville Speedway netted the team two more top-5 runs.
“Our car was pretty good at Eldora,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “We won there earlier in the summer and ran well in the spring. We had a good car but the 8 invert in the dash set us back a bit.
