CARLISLE, PA. – July 31, 2017 –  There are certain periods of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season that a team wants to be on a roll. One such stretch is the weeks leading up to the annual 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway in August. By virtue of sweeping the final weekend in July, David Gravel and his CJB Motorsports team have indeed found that elusive “roll.”  

 

The team began the final week in the calendars seventh month in Canada. The Arrow Express Six Nations Showdown at Ohsweken (Ont.) Speedway on Tuesday, July 25th gave the #5 team another shot at victory. Gravel timed in 4th, finished third in his heat race and started the feature in 12th. Read more »

 

CARLISLE, PA. – July 24, 2017 –  The month of July continues on and David Gravel and his CJB Motorsports team continue to be right in the thick of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series title fight.

 

Fresh off of a strong Kings Royal weekend, the team made its’ way to western Pennsylvania and the Lernerville Speedway outside of Sarver for the annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on Tuesday, July 18th. Gravel and the time took home the trophy and the $25,000 pay day. In the 2017 edition, Gravel timed in third before winning his heat race. A fifth-place finish in the Craftsman Club Dash allowed the driver to roll off for the feature in prime position. Read more »
