Oregon leads into Big Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway at Chico

CARLISLE, PA. – September 6, 2017 – The month of September began in earnest for David Gravel and the CJB #5 as the team took the banks of Skagit Speedway near Alger, Wash. on Friday, September 1st and Saturday, September 2nd. Gravel and Co were looking for their third and fourth straight wins, respectively, as the 3/10th’s of a mile bullring, having swept the events last season.

Skagit Speedway double header kicks off Labor Day weekend for Outlaws

CARLISLE, PA. – August 28, 2017 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series continues their long march through the 2017 season.

On Friday, August 25th, the tour made its’ first stop at Black Hills Speedway near Rapid City, S.D. since 2011. CJB Motorsports driver David Gravel timed in second quick in car #5. A second plash finish in his heat race scored the driver a spot in the Craftsman Club Dash, where he finished 5th.

“We started out with a good run in time trials,” explained Gravel. “Our engine stumbled a little bit on the start of the heat race when we were trying to get going. That put us back a bit but we recovered. We didn’t get the dash draw we needed so we experimented a bit. All in all, we came home sixth, which was solid.”
