DOUBLE 5: CJB Grabs Two Top-5’s as Outlaws Get Back to Action in Midwest

Tour heads south to Texas for events at Cottonbowl Speedway and Devils Bowl Speedway

CARLISLE, PA. – April 24, 2018 – After several rain outs on the season, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series was finally back in action as the series took to Riverside International Speedway near West Memphis, Tenn. On Friday, April 20th. David Gravel and the #5 CJB machine timed in 10th before finished 8th in his heat race.

“We missed where we wanted to qualify by just a few spots,” said Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “In our heat race, we had a rear end issue and had to thrash in order to get a new one in before the Lase Chance Showdown. We tried something new for that and it helped. We kept adjusting on the car for the feature and drove from 21st to 5th.  Read more »

WEEKEND WASH-A-WAY: Outlaws Lose Weekend to Rain in the Midwest

Events at Jacksonville and Tri-State rescheduled; Riverside and Pevely up next for CJB

CARLISLE, PA. – April 16, 2018 – Mother nature continues to be a thorn in the side of many racing series across the nation. The weekend slate of shows at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois and Tri-State Speedway near Haubstadt, Ind. Have been rescheduled. Jacksonville will attempt their show again on June 27th while Tri-State will re-attempt on Sunday, April 22nd.

The Tri-State date now makes for a potent trio of events in the Mississippi river valley events. Up on Friday, April 20th is Riverside International Speedway near West Memphis, Arkansas. The following night, the tour makes a stop at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 near Pevely, Missouri. The visit to Tri-State caps off the weekend on Sunday, April 22nd. Read more »
