Trek to the west coast continues with stops in South Dakota & Montana 

CARLISLE, PA. – August 21, 2018 – CJB Motorsports continued their post 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals trek west as they stopped in North Dakota for a pair of events that resulted in 7th and 18th place finishes.

Up first was a Friday night stop at River Cities Speedway near Grand Forks. The high-banked, 3/10th’s of a mile oval is a favorite of the #5 team and driver David Gravel. On the event that was held on August 17th, Gravel timed in 16th, finished 5th in the heat race and started 13th in the feature. Read more »

Second west coast swing of the season begins with a jaunt through the Dakotas

CARLISLE, PA. – August 13, 2018 – David Gravel and the CJB Motorsports team were looking to return to the 5-Hour Knoxville Nationals for redemption. Merely a season removed from one of the most dominating performances in the events history, Gravel and the team were looking to “close the deal” and return home as champions of the biggest sprint car race of the year.

The team competed on Thursday, August 9th during Toyota Qualifying night. Gravel timed in 29th quick, finished fourth in his heat race and charged from 13th to 3rd in the feature. Read more »
