It was just a great way to cap off a very good year. We qualified where we wanted to on Thursday night. We wanted to make sure we put ourselves on the front row of the heat races and we did that.”
Gravel and the CJB team had traveled to the Dirt Track at Charlotte in North Carolina to wrap up the 2017 season at the Textron Offroad World Finals. “Another amazing car from Barry, Derek and Zach,” said Gravel. “Donny (Schatz) didn’t really move his line and I was really able to close in fast on him in turns three and four. We got there and I had some chances to pass him. We just made the most of it and got it done.”
