Watertown, Conn.—March 22, 2012— David Gravel and DDR Motorsports will have their annual team benefit dinner this weekend. The event will take place on Saturday, March 24 at the Royal Club/Portuguese Club, located at 1956 Baldwin St. in Waterbury, Conn., from 6-10 p.m. Eastern.
Gravel, who is competing again with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions this year, began the season with the series in Georgia and Florida, racking up five Top-10 finishes in seven starts, and is currently fifth in the standings. He set fast time on the first night of the season at Screven Speedway in Georgia and finished second in that event. The native of Watertown, Conn. finished third with the World of Outlaws at Volusia Speedway Park on February 19 in a thrilling battle with four-time series champion Donny Schatz and eventual winner Craig Dollansky.
The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions return to action on April 6-7 at Attica Raceway Park in Ohio, before a trip to Central Pennsylvania to battle the Pennsylvania Posse. Gravel will visit over 30 tracks this season with the All Stars, as the season stretches from February through October.
