Inside Line Promotions – MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2024) – Big Game Motorsports recorded a pair of top-10 results last weekend during the Weis Markets National Open presented by Sage Fruit.
Williams Grove Speedway hosted the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series crown jewel event, which began on Friday with David Gravel qualifying second quickest in his group. He then won a heat race before drawing the highest number – eight – in the dash draw. Gravel advanced a pair of positions in the dash to finish sixth before he ended the night eighth in the main event.
The following night featured similar success early in the evening as Gravel set quick time during qualifying. He captured a heat race triumph and advanced forward one position in the dash to end third. The team placed sixth in the feature, marking the 56 th top 10 of the season.
Gravel owns an 86-point lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings with eight races remaining this season.
The next event on the schedule is the Keystone Showdown this Saturday at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa.
Big Game Motorsports was victorious during a World of Outlaws event at the track in May. It was Gravel’s second career series win at Lincoln Speedway and it marked the 100 th career World of Outlaws victory for Big Game Motorsports.
