JACKSONVILLE, ILLINOIS (September 25, 2019) – David Gravel and the JJR #41 team returned to Jacksonville Speedway on Wednesday night after getting rained out back in April. It was a beautiful fall day over the quarter mile oval and the pit area was packed with 35 strong teams lined up in their spots for the last mid-week scheduled show on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series for the 2019 season. DODGE CITY, KANSAS (September 21, 2019) – The winds were blowing hard across the western plains of Kansas yesterday as they blew over top of Dodge City Raceway Park as the drivers and teams awaited night two of the Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown. Dodge City started as a pavement oval back in 2000 and was converted over to dirt in 2008. Since that time the facility has done a tremendous job giving the racers and fans a track that has produced some exciting racing action around the beautiful facility. There were 25 cars rolling through the pit area as they headed to the track for hot laps around the 3/8-mile semi-banked, dirt oval three hours west of Wichita.

DODGE CITY, KANSAS (September 20, 2019) – Back to the Midwest after the California swing, David Gravel and the JJR #41 team pulled the Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT) hauler into the pit area off turns three and four at Dodge City Raceway Park for the first of two nights of racing action in the Outlaw Boot Hill Showdown. The weather was perfect and the promoter and track staff welcomed the teams and fans to this beautiful semi-banked, 3/8-mile facility as summer turns to fall, at least from a calendar perspective. There were 25 teams preparing to out on a show World of Outlaws style in Dodge City.

The semi-banked half-mile oval sits in a beautiful part of the country nestled in the Napa Valley. It has been the home of the Louis Vermeil since 1937 and the drivers and teams look forward to visiting the track each year as it produces some good racing. David Gravel and the JJR team were looking to continue their momentum after a string podium the night before at the Stockton Dirt Track. There were 22 entries in the pit area ready to compete for the winner’s trophy in the Wine Country Outlaw Showdown at Calistoga Speedway!

The track promoters and crew had water on the surface and worked hard to prepare the track for a great night of racing action with 22 cars in the pit area. After a day of remembrance, David Gravel and his fellow World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competitors rolled into the Sierra Nevada foothills to race at Placerville Speedway in the 49er Gold Rush Classic presented by Riebes NAPA Auto Parts. There were 26 cars registered to race a Placerville, a town that was an original part of the Pony Express line and is highlighted by the many old buildings from the Gold Rush days still today.
