Events at Jacksonville and Tri-State rescheduled; Riverside and Pevely up next for CJB
CARLISLE, PA. – April 16, 2018 – Mother nature continues to be a thorn in the side of many racing series across the nation. The weekend slate of shows at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois and Tri-State Speedway near Haubstadt, Ind. Have been rescheduled. Jacksonville will attempt their show again on June 27th while Tri-State will re-attempt on Sunday, April 22nd.
The Tri-State date now makes for a potent trio of events in the Mississippi river valley events. Up on Friday, April 20th is Riverside International Speedway near West Memphis, Arkansas. The following night, the tour makes a stop at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 near Pevely, Missouri. The visit to Tri-State caps off the weekend on Sunday, April 22nd.
“You really hate to lose so many many races to rain,” said David Gravel, pilot of the Big Game Treestands, J.R.C. Transportation Inc., C&S Lawn & Landscape #5. “Sprint car racing really is a sport about momentum and it’s hard to get any if you aren’t racing. We can’t control mother nature though. Really looking forward to these track this weekend though. They’re all bullring and all very exciting. Drivers can make a big difference and that gets me excited. I knew Barry, Zack & Derek will have a strong car for me. It’d be great to get a win and get rolling again.”
